A heartwarming story that melted the colors away, and shows how strong love really is.

Today we traveled north along 41 to Copper Harbor. The colors continue to dazzle as the trees start tucking themselves in for a long winters nap. We found Rocky shores, peaceful overlooks and my favorite thing of the day- Two sweethearts walking hand in hand. They asked if we'd take a photo of them, and I joking asked if it was their first date? With a laugh they replied "Nope, We've been dating 4 months!" Having both lost their spouses to Alzheimers, they decided to not give up and to try, try again. They told us that they'd had day dates, and that this was their first multiple day, overnight outing! 🔥! These two were the treat of the day, laughing, adventuring, and showing the world what hope looks like. ❤️ When I told them we were on our honeymoon, they were thrilled. He looked at my Mrs., gave me a fist bump and a nod and said "Nice work!" (I've included a photo with their permission) They gave us their blessings and good hopes for our future together. ❤️ We wished them good luck as we said our goodbyes. A cuter couple, I...

Brockway Mountain Lookout exceeded all my expectations! The panoramic views from the lookout were absolutely breathtaking, providing a mesmerizing vista of the surrounding landscapes. I was captivated by the stunning beauty of Lake Superior, the dense forests, and the charming towns nestled below. The lookout itself was well-maintained, offering a comfortable spot to take in the awe-inspiring scenery. It's definitely a must-visit destination for nature lovers and photographers. Don't miss the opportunity to experience the magnificent views and immerse yourself in the natural splendor at Brockway...

Ok so I’m going to review my experience and my short timeline that I had to explore this region. Overall beautiful and glad I squeezed in the time. We had 1 day to basically see the area. The drive to the top and back took well over an hour and the road conditions sucked. You get to the top and it’s picturesque. However. I think the most picturesque spot is the first one you come to that overlooks Copper Harbor. That being said, when I’m in the area again I will probably only do the 5 minute drive. Don’t let that scare you though. It is worth the drive but not if you’re...
