The Fairy Forest — Attraction in Grass Lake Charter Township

I heard about The Fairy Forest a year ago when we were moving from Northern Michigan to Adrian. Today was the day that we were in the area and decided to pop in for a quick visit. I'm glad we did. We will definitely bring our young grandchildren out to experience the fairy fun. Mind you, this was after two severe thunderstorms back to back, and power outages in the area, so no lights were lit, and it was a little wind blown and messy with small branches and leaf debris, but you could tell that someone had put a lot of time and effort into sharing their love of fantasy and make believe with others. This place is in the middle of the town there, on someone's private property, and they set this up for the public to come. I had to donate to the homeowners because it was such a magical place. Our daughter has autism and doesn't necessarily do the greatest at going to new places when it's super busy or if it's wide open with a lot of things to look at. This place is actually covered with trees and beautiful little magic right in the middle of town. It's hidden by the eye and you can park across the business across the street to go there. Secondly, when visiting, this is a sweet , tiny place, it might not be what you expected but be kind. Lastly, bring your open minds, let your children or you explore and reflect on simple times ❤️ I sat in the big log chair and could hear water from a creek...
