This is very odd for me to write as from our previous experiences with the store and it's staff they all seemed very pleasant! The first time we came here was great! We got a large amount of things and were very satisfied with what we had bought! The store itself is larger than what it seems and has some good finds. Now if it ended there this would be 5 stars but sadly after the disrespectful treatment my girlfriend, her friends, and myself experienced I have to rate this location 1 star. We had went in expecting to have a good time and buy a good amount of items per the usual. We were joking around with eachother and I had picked up a hat that I wanted to buy. I was wearing it and carrying it with me whenever the store owner came up to our group furious saying "Give me that hat so we can take it to the front desk so you can pay for it". I innocently replied that I was going to ask about the price anyway since the item lacked a tag. He than stated once again to give him the hat and that I was going to pay for it. I was quite confused and approached him ready to give him the hat when he begins to ramble on and on about how this is his store and that we need to leave because there are cameras everywhere watching us. I extend my hand with the hat in order to return it when the owner smacks my hand with the hat onto the ground and he begins to say that he's going to give us black eyes and begins asking me why I'm "looking at him like that" to which I say it's just my face to which he responds "Oh yea? Get out". So feeling quite confused and disrespected we all make our ways to the front of the store to which the owner begins to bellow out "Bye now, Goodbye, Bye" Over and over again. Never have I felt so disrespected by the owner of a store in my life, If our behavior was that much of a problem he could have told us in a much more professional manner. This is not how business is conducted in our beautiful country fellow antique enthusiasts. P.S: I was not going to mention this but I suppose I should also mention that the store does have a minor bug problem, Specifically in the back of the store near...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI brought my kids here today, all of various ages (15, 15, 11, 8, 5, 5). They were very respectful, nothing broke (thank God) and everything seemed to be going great. My kids were picking out a $10 or more gift for one another (Secret Santa). Some found a trinket, some didn't. We bought 2 items after 45 min of adoring all the unique items they had. As we were leaving and getting into our van, the lady came outside and was looking at us, hands folded, staring at me, pacing a bit. It takes a moment for me to get the younger ones in their seats. I did think it was a little strange feeling that she was out there hands folded eyeing us but I didn't have any reason to think much of it. As we settled in seats and backed out of our parking spot, she held up her phone and snapped a picture of us. Again, I was thinking... what is she doing?? But not giving any deeper thought. Soon after driving away it occurred to me that she must think we stole something and my heart sunk! It feels really bad to have been made to feel like that. I had planned to come back with my husband soon to buy up the place. Unfortunately, we won't ever return. We did not deserve to be treated like that. New! More ways to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI stopped in here for the first time today the store is so cute!!! It is deceiving from the outside and looks small but they have such a great selection of things from clothes, jewelry, books, shoes, purses and antique-y things. So cute!!! I am absolutely in love with the things I purchased! I have been thrift shopping most of my life and honestly this is one of my favorites that I have been to. The owner gave me a quick tour when I first walked in and they were so sweet! If I could give them more then 5 stars I totally would because it by far exceeded my expectations. They make u feel right at home with having complementary coffee/tea/water as well.
