Taco Bell — Restaurant in Grayslake

I never thought it would be possible to be disappointed in a Taco Bell order as you already have to accept that you’re eating the bottom barrel of food, but here we are. After working all day and going home to a sick dog I got a delivery order from this spot. 3 Dorito Locos with a large Starry. I bit into the shells to find that they were rock hard stale. After this then came the explosion of sour cream that filled the majority of the shells. This was mixed with a light sprinkle of the fixings which I could barely even feel the texture. Then I finally made it to the microscopic layer of meat at the bottom, which was obviously ice cold because why not. Then I went to take a sip of the drink (once again a large Starry) to realize that they somehow, seemingly impossibly; managed to botch cooking my drink. I word it like this to illustrate that it was not that they forgot my drink or grabbed the wrong one. They served me my Starry and when I took a sip it was somehow RANCID and disgusting, I legit do not even know how that’s possible. How one can be so inept at life that you mess up something so simple is beyond me, but to put it lightly I wish unspeakable misfortune on the life of whoever prepared this wretched mistake. Went to this place for the 1st time since my son had a baseball game nearby. Ordered the chicken power bowl for myself and a few things for the kids. Guy at drive thru asked what sauce we wanted. Stated “fire” sauce. Got the food and took off. When taking out food in the car I realized that he only gave us “hot” sauce no fire. I let that slide. Then I looked for the fork to eat my bowl and there wasn’t one. Luckily had one in the car. Then when eating rice I noticed some of it was a bit under cooked. Still let it slide. The last straw for me was getting to the last bites of food and finding plastic in the food. Needless to say I went back for my money. Only because I got my money back without a problem I give them 2 stars. Never going there again....

Staff needs to be mindful when you have an open kitchen. Placed our order on the kiosk stood in the lobby waiting to pay since we were paying cash. After standing there for 10 minutes listening to the staff laughing and talking in a back office walked out. Great customer service.

And again 7/13 gave them another try ordered on the kiosk, again stood there while the female employee was on her phone. After a few minutes looked up and rudely said did you need some help. Informed her we needed to pay, she walked looked at the screen and yelled to someone else then walked towards the back again. So for the 2nd time left without food.
