Twisted Burger Grayslake — Restaurant in Grayslake

The burgers at this restaurant are delicious. A friend brought me here. I really wish that I had known about this spot sooner, but I am still glad I was able to experience and eat some delicious food at this spot. The first thing about this good place is definitely the atmosphere and vibe. After I entered the restaurant, a very casual and comfy vibe welcomed me. The staff here were also very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We went here for their burgers, and they have a nice and different option for their burgers. Aside from burgers, they also have other good food options on their menu. I got myself their bacon cheese burger. I also ordered a milkshake and onion rings. Food came fast despite the restaurant being busy on that particular day. The burger looks really good. It was definitely greasy and, at the same time, juicy. It was also huge, and it was definitely reasonable for its price. I like the overall flavor of it. It was seasoned perfectly. The bacon, the patty, and everything else were perfectly cooked. It makes me so sad to have to post anything negative about twisted. Me and my husband learned of twisted when he went through boot camp up here , and now we are back up here and go out every so of to enjoy our fave’s there mine are and always has been the zombie fries ! I LOVE The twisted bbq sauce!!! Well tonight I went got my fries and they were wrong. I asked the server about what was different and before I could say anything else she said the bbq was sweeter than normal, I get the fries because I love the sauce without it they are not the same , however my husband had the he black widow 2 and it has the twisted sauce on it and hat taste normal. The only thing she offered was to bring me some jalapeño to help it taste normal, well it did not help . I believe the wrong bbq was used on my fries . They could have offered to remake them for me . But they did not . It was sad because we have always been so impressed with the service and the staff and food . But now I have no interest in going back . The Sticks were my best item, the sauce was on point. I had the Black n Blue burger, which could use some work on. It didn't need grilled onions or pickles as much as it could use bacon, and the blue be steamed to coat the whole burger. I love me some blue cheese stuff. But a burger with 2 bites of nothing but and the rest is, just a burger it falls short of the name BlackNBlue. The son got the western burger, and wasnt disappointed at all. 11yrs old n finished with no problem. The father in law got the superman. He also wasnt disappointed whatsoever. Fries, standard, w cheese, and mine was garlic n parm. Overall, good fries. Crispy, real skin potatoes, cheese was the standard, the garlic n parm, needs some olive oil or something, they were to dry for my liking. But if served w a side of.the Mozz sticks sauce? That would be foine. Overall, spent less n got more, w a smile and generous tip for the staff. We look forward to being back again.
