Disappointing and Unsafe Experience
It’s truly impressive how little the city seems to care about this park. What could be a beautiful landmark with scenic views is instead a depressing place to visit. The moment we arrived, we were greeted by trash everywhere, making the entrance look completely neglected. As we made our way to the castle spot, it only got worse—garbage was scattered all around, and the people hanging out there seemed to be under the influence of drugs. Read moreThis is an incredibly wonderful trail for hiking or running and it's a beautiful slice of nature, right in the heart of the Patch in Turners Falls.
The trail is easily accessible and often wide enough to drive. But more importantly, it is a level and enjoyable trek into the woods.
