⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️She is the best gynecologist I've ever had !! Very kind and helpful and intelligent and experienced. However I just called to confirm an August appt and was told she would not be in during August. So I asked should I change the appt? Then I'm told she's leaving the practice. I ask when? Am told the end of this week. I'm a bit shocked, I asked was I going to be notified of losing my doctor? Was told they've been sending out letters and making phone calls. I did not receive either or anything on my portal which would be the obvious place to communicate this. That's where all my other info comes from- billing, results, appt reminders etc.. I asked how do I contact her at her new practice? Was told by person on phone (Joanne), I don't know where she's going. *I was advised to wait 2 weeks and google the doctor to see where she is going to be. Would I like to schedule an annual with another doctor? My answer is NO. I would like to know where MY doctor of several years who knows my complicated medical history is going to be. Why put a generally helpful and pleasant person on the phones who can't answer my questions and though was polite and professioal seemed a bit unprepared for my questions. I suspect everyone in that office knows which practice Dr. T. is going to. I don't understand why they won't give you contact info so you can continue your care with an excellent doctor who until 3 days from now was one of their highest rated providers. This is cheeky and shows poorly on Phelps. I don't care if it's SOP, it stinks. I'm done with Phelps (except for Floyd Byfield another 6 star...

My first appointment was scheduled a year ahead of time for April. I arrived and waited 20 minutes before I was told the doctor was running late, perhaps another half hour, perhaps longer. I asked if I could reschedule and did so for May 10th. Again, I arrived on time to find there were two patients ahead of me and one had already been waiting 40 minutes. This time, I did not reschedule. I understand situations arise and we all have to be patient and flexible but this just seems to be a very poorly run practice. The receptionist did not even try to look like she might be sorry for the inconvience so, I don't know, maybe she gets points for being honest? Doesn't matter. I have a job too and when I expect to spend an hour or so on a routine check-up but am confronted with twice that or more, it's...

Felt extremely judged by her on struggling with my weight issues, she blamed all my issues on my weight even though I made it clear that I had struggled with these same issues BEFORE I gained weight. She didnt want to run any tests, her advice to me was to starve myself during the week and just eat a few almonds during the day to lose weight and my issues will resolve when I'm thin again.

My sister happened to also try to go her a few months earlier (which we didnt realize) and when I told her the story she gasped because she also had a terrible experience with her also, basically questioning her about her marriage almost to the point where my sister felt as though she was comparing her marriage to my sisters. Not a helpful doctor AT ALL and actually did a lot more damage to my emotional well being...
