I purchased 4 Mother-of -Groom outfits. All were completely different. Marietta designed 1 dress, 2 top & bottom outfits and a pantsuit. Marietta made sure that the color, style, and fit were perfect for me. My future daughter-in-law had Marietta design the perfect wedding dress that she would feel comfortable in . It was the perfect style for her. Her mother also bought a Marietta designed dress. Her seamstresses team are professional and make sure your outfit fits perfectly. I have also had Marietta make a Baptism dress for my granddaughter which was perfect for the day. Marietta has a broad experience with a range of skills. Marietta is a wonderful designer, careful and skilled artist and a wonderful and bright person! Marietta made a bespoke dress for my mother to wear to my wedding in 2021. As I bride I could not have been happier with the process of both working with Marietta, and also with how my mother's dress turned out for my wedding day!

We met with Marietta several times, and she graciously allowed me to accompany my mother for all appointments. Marietta worked collaboratively with my mother to dream up a dress that would make my her feel confident and beautiful on this very special occasion. Marietta is a wonderful listener, and made sure to incorporate any elements that my mother highlighted as important to her into the creation of her dress. Marietta also gave my mother wonderful advice on what accessories and shoes might look best with the dress she was designing for her.

As a bride, I wanted my mom to feel very special on my wedding day, and Marietta helped my mother to feel special both before the wedding day, and as she wore the beautiful dress that Marietta made on the day of my wedding. My mother truly looked and felt so beautiful and confident in what Marietta created. The dress ended up being exactly what my mother wanted, and was extremely well constructed; she received compliments on the dress from everyone!

I was privileged enough to know Marietta since grade school. She must have had her first machine at age 7 - she knew what she wanted even then and is one of those few who has benefitted from a lifetime of experimentation and study of every facet of design, couture, and execution. I noticed her shop on a return to Greenwich in 2016, and there could be no doubt which Marietta C it was. I went straight in, taking my girls. She gave us such a warm and wonderful welcome! We were flabbergasted by the sheer quantity and haute-gamme quality of full and cocktail length dresses in her shop in all sizes! Here is a person who is sewing and creating 24/7 with extreme passion. She is a true maestro! I wished I lived the sort of life that requires one each of her incredible dresses!! I am also a seamstress, (a far less talented and more easily distracted one) sewing more often complicated costumes, and we'd occasionally compare notes about what fabrics we were fond of and which were super slippery or difficult to work with.
