Greenwich Water Club — Restaurant in Greenwich

Came to this venue for my sister’s sweet sixteen and the experience unfortunately was horrible. All due to a lady named KIM. You can just see the negative energy fuming from her body. Although many attempts to diffuse the situation was made from my end with smiles, kindness, & playful jokes; Nothing could make her change her mind she wanted everyone out, even though I was later told that a pretty penny was spent to stay there until a certain time, but KIM didn’t want that; she started putting down tables and equipment 40 mins before the agree upon time and started telling people that they had to go. She even took my water glass and ginger ale glass, when I kindly said that I was still drinking from those glasses, she looked at me, acknowledged me, and turned around & ran to throw away the glasses. I was completely dumbfounded, felt like I was in the twilight zone. I just couldn’t understand how someone could be so miserable. I understand that she may have wanted to go home but I don’t think it’s acceptable to start kicking people out way before the time slot that was paid for.

KIM, if you’re feeling miserable please stay home. Other people don’t have to put up with your negative energy, bad attitude, and rudeness.. It’s not what people pay for..

I never leave reviews but I had to for this situation. As a business owner, I hope to share my thoughts with the ownership group of this establishment and hope you guys could turn things around in the future.

Going on a family vacation after my dad's passing, saw a cute little spot by the river to eat our lunch, saw the sign for public parking access. Man came out like 4 min after we arrived and was extremely rude saying it was "very private area." We just explained we were eating lunch really quick and leaving. Before we could even finish our sentence he said call your people and get off. So... Not public parking I guess. Thanks for making an already sad...

I had my eye on joining here since moving here in 2011 and on a whim through our names on the list. It was worth the wait. The food is top notch.
