Honestly so disappointed in this restaurant. The first time we came here we were so impressed by not only the food but also the service. Everything we ordered the first time was amazing and the service was wonderful, despite only offering outdoor dining. On our most recent visit, it seems like the quality has severely decreased. We ordered two appetizers and were served a pretzel with cold cheese- the cheese was in a plastic container and the temperature felt as if it was taken straight from the fridge, and our “dipsticks” were burnt and so hard they were difficult to eat. We decided to proceed with our meal and order two entrees that were equally as disappointing so we told our server to take them back and just asked for the check. Not a single bite was taken from either, we had just ordered the exact same thing previously and what was brought to us was I obviously far from the quality it once was. I wasn’t going to leave any type of negative review at this point, it was clear the food was just not matching the previous standard held by this restaurant and we had decided we just wouldn’t come back. However, when our server brought our check she actually asked us to remove our fries from the entree plates (we asked to pay for and keep the fries) so she could make sure we don’t either eat or steal any of the entree we told them we wouldn’t be eating or paying for. At this point they were both till left untouched. This was rude and unnecessary after an already disappointing meal. I’ve never been made to feel so awful, we were literally treated as if I was going to take two giant chicken sandwiches and shove them into my purse on our way out. Ridiculous. Read moreI came here last night for dinner with my family to celebrate a birthday. We made the reservation thinking we were going to be sat inside. Once we arrived to the restaurant, to our surprise, we were sat outside. The woman who took the reservation over the phone did NOT mention that we would be sat outside. Unfortunately not everyone was dressed appropriately so we had to make do. We were told that the heating lamps would be turned on as soon as possible to help keep us warm, but after waiting and waiting we had a family member of ours go up to the front and ask for the person in charge, and only after that someone ran outside quickly to turn on the heaters. Once our server came to the table, one person from our table was ready to order their drink while the rest of us were still deciding. One person asked the server if they could get a margarita in the meantime, and the server said that she couldn't, because she "had to get all of the drinks in at the same time". At this point we noticed she had somewhat of a bad attitude. Later on, the server mentioned that the reservation was indeed made for outside dining despite the fact that we mentioned to her multiple times that whoever took the reservation over the phone NEVER mentioned that we were going to be sat outside. We told her again that no one mentioned to us that we would be sat outside, but she seemed to disregard it. Read moreWe’ve been to Little Pub many, many times but it wasn’t the first thought when planning a small surprise 21st birthday party. What a mistake. But after the party plan went south at another Gwich location I reached out to Rob, on relatively short notice, to try and put together Plan B. And he delivered! He offered the entire bar area (that was set up with some seating and plenty of space for mingling for ~ 30 people). Though the menu was open for us to order anything our guests wanted, he and Justin spent time helping set us up with several of their best-selling appetizers and entrees in advance (which made time at the actual party far less stressful). Tess, our amazing bartender, kept on eye on everyone’s needs, made all sorts of special concoctions for those that wanted, timed all the different trays and salads coming out of the kitchen perfectly and really made the birthday boy feel like the center of attention. In spite of the rest of the restaurant being open, and very busy as usual, Justin checked in several times to make sure we had everything we needed and all was going well. And even though our gathering was scheduled to end at 10pm a few stragglers kept the party going until a little after 11pm but Tess and Justin never quit.
