Yale Medicine Orthopedics and Rehabilitation — Attraction in Guilford

Do NOT use Dr. Parks! Dr Parks and his staff have ZERO respect for the patients time. I had an appointment at 8:00am on 2/16/22. I mistakenly thought the office was in Old Saybrook rather than Guilford. Upon realizing my mistake, i called the office at 7:55am and explain i was at the wrong address. They said they have a 15 minute window but could possibly extend it to 20 minutes. I walked in the office at 8:20am and without any regard for my time or my effort in trying to get there as quickly as I could, they said I needed to reschedule the appointment. I am sure if I was there at exactly 8am, they would hvae had me wait for :20 minutes or possibly longer. Dr. Parks and his staff had no regard for my time when I made a mistake but yet, if it were the other way around, there would be nothing I could do but wait. It is disgusting what these doctors and staff members get away with because we have no choice but to use them. We'll if you have a choice, do not use this practice. I am sure this review will not ever be seen because they will some how screen it out...

Hello’ I give Dr.Odonkor a 5 plus star rating’ .. For about 5 yrs I was in a lot of pain from my lower back’ my hip all the way down to my toes on my right side’ I went through years of injections & pain medications’ I’ve been to a few pain management Drs & none of them got it right’ When I was referred to Dr.Odonkor from my hip surgeon it was the best thing ever.. I injured my left shoulder in Feb., which required me to search for an Orthopedic surgeon to help repair it. Having had a great experience and success with Dr. Andrea Halim (with the Yale NH Ortho.Group) 2 years ago with my carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand, l researched and found 3 shoulder surgeons within the Yale Orthopedic Group. Dr Medvecky l was told was the doctor with whom l could be seen the quickest! And l am so happy and grateful that he was looking back on it! Upon my first visit I found Dr. Medvecky and his entire staff to be very supportive, friendly, knowledgeable and very professional! And now after pre-surgery, surgery @ McGivney Surgical Center, and 2 post surgery appts. I still find Dr. Medvecky and his entire team ( both surgical and office) to be incredibly supportive, caring, friendly, knowledgeable and extremely professional!
