Naples Restaurant & Pizza — Restaurant in Guilford

My wife made an online order for Naples in Guilford this past Saturday on the slice app.

When I arrived at the store to pick up the food, I was greeted by the girl working the counter. She was appropriately wearing a face mask, and they even had plexiglass up to create a barrier between her and customers. This was great.

The downside was when I realized that 4 out of the 5 people working in the kitchen area weren’t wearing either masks or gloves.

Now, I have over 2 decades of experience in the food service industry, and I understand that workers in kitchens don’t always wear gloves, instead opting to utilize regular hand washing.

Unfortunately, there is a pandemic going on right now, and this is not the time to take chances, especially when we are seeing a huge resurgence in Covid-19 cases recently.

This is a shame, because as a good service manager, my initial thought was that if the staff aren’t executing such an easy and obvious measure to keep their customers safe, what not so obvious safe food ah fling practices are they Also not executing?

Suffice it to say, I will not be returning to this restaurant, which is unfortunate because their food has been really good every time I’ve gotten it in the past. They have instead chosen to force me to choose other businesses to support with...

I want to thank you so much for your Naples pizza truck that was provided for my granddaughter's celebration on Saturday June 24th. So many of my guests commented on the quality and quantity of the pizzas as well as where you were located and how did I find you. I had approx 90 people and there was no shortage of such a large variety of pizzas and desserts. You provided so many leftover pizzas that I was able to feed my overnight guests the following day and we all enjoyed it again! I want to thank you for your time and your enthusiasm speaking with my guests as they had nothing but positive compliments to you and your staff. I've lived this pizza from Naples since Bradley's was still in the plaza. From when I worked at Big-Y back when I was 15 and when I worked at Radio Shack when I was 17 til around 20 I've always got my lunches from Naples. An now that I'm in the area again I'm gonna be a weekly visitor to my childhood favorite pizza spot in guilford.
