I can't even describe how beautiful this place is. There is plenty of parking for a cheap flat fee. Recommended for walking enthusiasts as there is a long beach line with awesome views. The ocean water is nice and warm. The beach is surrounded by trails and trees. Clean facilities. There's a small fort museum and a gift shop with sacks available. You can bring your own food and picnic in the appropriate areas. We walked up the beach where no other people were and found a pelican trapped in a fishing line! We immediately called for help and the park rangers arrived in about 5 minutes. They freed the big fella, and took it for immediate care and rehabilitation at the sanctuary. Recommend the authorities to NOT let people fish...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hidden Gem Alert: Fort De Soto Beach is Pure Paradise

If you’re looking for the perfect beach day without the crowds or chaos of typical tourist traps, Fort De Soto Beach is it. The white sand is soft, powdery, and stays cool under your feet—even in the heat of the day. It’s peaceful, quiet, and ideal for families or anyone who just wants to relax and soak in Florida’s natural beauty.

There were tons of shells, crystal-clear water, and amazing views in every direction. The best part? No tourists. Just locals, chill vibes, and plenty of space to breathe. Whether you’re laying out, collecting shells, or walking the shore, Fort De Soto delivers one of the most serene and scenic beach experiences around. Absolute...

Fort De Soto Beach Park is gorgeous! Stunning!

You can rent bikes and kayaks. Their beach is one of the most beautiful. An amazing fishing pier.

You pay $5 to go in and don’t cheat them There is a fantastic dog park. The park is gorgeous. Well kept! Parking is plentiful. There is just no way to use too many superlatives about this park!

Except the bathrooms!! It’s like no one ever cleans or takes care of the bathrooms. Some of the most disgusting public bathrooms Ive ever seen!!!

Each of the two ladies rooms were out of paper and everything possible was on the floor 🤢

The men’s room wasn’t much better. Does anyone ever clean them? Ever?

Just brace yourself for that. But otherwise the park is a jewel...
