Gulf Coast Seafood — Attraction in Gulfport

If I could give a 0 I would!! I purchased fish from this place and it was NOT fresh!!! I tried returning it and was insulted by the owner with accusations that I left the fish somewhere hot!!!! When I purchased the fish I immediately took it home, rinsed it and started to squeeze lemon on it and noticed that there was a odor. I immediately put it back in the packaging and tried to return it. The lady at the counter went to the back to talk to the owner and I could see and hear them talking. The owner kept saying to her this fish is hot why is it hot ,was it left in the car? Not only that he wouldn't even come and talk to me!! I was so insulted! They would not give me my $23 back. Instead the lady gave me another piece of fish which was smaller and cost $19 and she turned and walked away without saying anything or reimbursing me the difference! To be treated that way for 23 dollars is saying alot. They do not have to worry about me going back, I'm sure they don't care but at least they won't get anymore...

Great variety of fish, beers/wine and groceries! I got pompano for the first time. Also got frozen octopus, squid, scallops, cod, fresh trout and IPA beers. Apparently they've expanded and now they have dried pastas, fancy seasonings/oils, sauces and even fresh veggies that would go with seafood (zucchini, asparagus, etc for grilling).

They even had fresh steamers! I usually just see those in the Northeast. I lived in NY for the last 15+ years and LOVE steamers there.

The staff is so friendly! I asked for their suggestions on how to make certain fish and they were so helpful. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere, but worth a trip just to see what all they have. Spotless store too!

I got some fish from Gulf Coast Seafood in Gulfport and I was shucked that it was old When I was cleaning the fish it was smelly but I still cooked it And that was the big mistake I did We could not eat it it was very old could not believe it You walk in to a fresh market to get fresh fish and this is what happen I took it back to them today and they gave me hard time about having a receipt unbelievably is this about a receipt or about customer satisfaction Please tell me guys who keep receipt for food , I don’t cause when I buy for is to eat it not to think of returning it .
