My Bar Sports Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

Wow. Just wow. My first time here. This bar is everything i want in a bar. It's homey from the first time you step foot in the front door it's like you've been a regular there forever. The bartenders were amazing. The bar is family owned and it shows. The young lady who was bartending was the owners daughter. She was awesome, fast, funny, and very attentive. The young man who was behind the bar with her that night was just as cool and even the cook back in the kitchen was awesome. And the food!! Amazing again!! They have a smaller menu but it hits everything that a bar menu could want and better! The atmosphere is great and like home is the only way I can explain it. I had their Cuban and chips. Authentic bread and pressed perfectly. For well under $20 i was VERY comfortably full and had an ice cold beer. I just moved in across the street and can see this being my new spot. I've not missed a day since moving in. Foods great and ive eaten there daily. Lol. Last night I woke up hungry at midnight and needed a sandwich. I got dressed and walked around the corner and the convenient store was closed but I noticed My Pub was still going strong. So I walked in and met the owner Crystal. Such a cool and down to Earth woman who's obviously found a way to look 30 for the rest of her life and is an amazing woman. Smart, funny, and beautiful. She was bartender and you'd have never known she was the owner by the way she worked and connected with everyone. She'd never met me and im large and covered with facial tattoos. When she greeted me for the first time she gave me a VERY GENUINE smile. She was so nice and kind and I immediately felt like a regular. I live this place and recommend it highly. All this writing has me hungry again at midnight. I think I'm going to get me a bite to eat. Please come check them out you won't be disappointed and you'll feel like family instantly. My Bar Sports Bar and Grill is my go-to neighborhood spot here in St. Pete—just a quick trip from home and always exactly what I’m looking for. WOW, what a VERY pleasant surprise; because this place is brand new!! It's run like they've been in business for many years, not 1month!! A super fun bar with very reasonable prices. We had our pickleball holiday party there with about 30 people and the service was TOP NOTCH!!!! The waitresses, bar tenders, food and drinks were all phenomenal. There are TV's, pool table, darts, video games, and plenty of seating!! This will soon be a St Pete neighborhood bar staple for many people!!! Thank you for a GREAT experience!!
