Is there more to this place than I realized? It is just a bunch of parking lots and some grass along the water (smaller area than the parking areas) with docks that you shouldn't even have access to because they are falling apart. The bushes along the water were very active with birds and we did have one Bald Eagle do a fly over down the river and past the swing bridge. This is a spot to catch a couple local river cruise lines. A 4/5 star for being a bit dirty and so-so kept. Walking trail on the grounds and to the entrance of a cruise boat. I'm thinking once up and running again, it will bring a bit of life back to the park. No kid equipment. A neat gazebo to sit. A...

Calling this a state park is crazy. It's a field next to a railroad storage site. The only water access points are to a private dock and a ramp to a cruise boat. On the other side of the bridge there is water access and picnic tables, but it's a private marina. Very disappointing.

Calling this a state park is crazy. It's a field next to a railroad storage site. The only water access points are to a private dock and a ramp to a cruise boat. On the other side of the bridge there is water access and picnic tables, but it's a private marina. Very disappointing.
