I hate to be the voice of negativity, but my experience with Posner has epitomize many of the negative stereo types about car salespeople. I would NOT recommend Posner. In fact I would recommend you start a relationship with someone better for you like say…a debt collector or perhaps a crazy ex stalker, as either of them would be more honest with you and you would have a better chance of getting away from an unhealthy relationship with them. Let me take you through a brief timeline… I say brief because if I wrote out my whole experience you would be reading much more than you came here for. You already know you should go to that questionable “dealership” in the back of the K-mart parking lot before you give any information, time or money to this dealership. June 26th… We (my wife and I) decide to contact Posner about a Jeep. We wanted to make sure it was still in stock and that the price was as advertised as we live a good distance from the dealership. Posner was one of only a couple of dealers that had the Make, Model and Color she wanted. We had difficulty getting the information without having to -call- and speak to someone. That should have been a red flag right away. My wife called using my cellphone and spoke with someone and “verified” the information from the website. She also set up a time to meet to purchase the vehicle. She did purchase from Posner, and that was less then stellar. The car was not waiting when she arrived even though they said it would be (in fact she was given the keys to pull it out of the parking spot and bring it to the front.) The price was not as quoted, but they “negotiated” to within 250.00. My wife was pre-approved through a finance company that works with Posner, but they “couldn’t get the system to work” and after waiting over an hour they got her financing through another company that matched her pre-approval. *sigh* When all was said and done, she received the vehicle which was not prepped (think very dirty) and took it home. Yes, my wife made some mistakes, it was her first vehicle purchase in quite some time. I should have gone with her but was unavailable. We should have waited. We screwed up. The vehicle itself was excellent. We have no complaints about the Jeep. Now, my wife filled out all the paperwork using her information and telephone number etc. July 27th I get a call at my phone number from Jackie at Posner asking to follow up on the Jeep purchase. My wife returns the call from her cell phone and asks that they stop trying to contact her via my (her husbands) phone. They apologies and say that it will be fixed. August 12th I get a call at my phone number from Suvannah the service manager. Again my wife returns the call and expresses her unhappiness that her husband is still receiving calls. They again say it was a computer error. My wife says… please stop calling us at all. We are not happy with the service from Posner and wish nothing more to do with Posner. They say “ok” October 16th I get a call at my phone number from Arsenio, another service manager, with a “friendly reminder” for service. My wife calls AGAIN from her phone, this time pretty unhappy. Guess what, they say they will stop calling… but will they??? DECEMBER 24th – ANOTHER CALL to MY CELL PHONE. This time from Tony Reeves General Manager. My wife calls the number on the voicemail back within half an hour and asks for Tony. She gets him. She questions him as to why we are still getting calls and to please stop. He says “I don’t work there anymore, I work at a different location and they haven’t changed the automated message yet.” Remember she called him at the number on the voicemail and GOT HIM. They WILL NOT STOP CALLING US. They keep lying. They keep giving very bad customer service. We would never do business with Posner again based on our experience, and now you have our story. We tried to leave well enough alone, not post a review and not to make a big deal out of it as car buying is never fun, but this is ridiculous.

Posner review: First of all, I gave the Service department numerous opportunities to correct several issues that I had, and they were unwilling to do that. I initially brought my FIAT in for repair of ac control knob and to diagnose and repair front end/suspension noise and concerns. My car is covered under warranty so I can only take it to a dealership for covered services,(Unfortunately). I made an appointment and dropped it off. Even having an appointment and having to pay for a rental, they chose not to even look at it for 5 days and I had to call several times to get this done. Finally get a diagnosis and of course parts had to be ordered and now we had to wait on the warranty to approve the work. I reminded them that I’m paying for a rental and that I had made an appointment so that I wouldn’t have to do this…. It took another week to get the repair done. I go to pick up car and one of the parts didn’t come in so they said I need to come back in for that once it arrives. Keep in mind that I live nearly 2 hours away in horrid i4 traffic. Fast forward…. After numerous calls, emails, escalations to upper management, I was finally able to get my car back in for the completion work. NO ONE reached out to me or took my calls half the time when calling to check on part, etc. was left on hold for 15-20 minutes at a time taking up my entire work breaks and having to hang up. When I finally did take my car in for the repair, the manager Tom was rude and dismissive, as if I was a bother. No apologies for over a month of trying to get work done that was already paid for… and the several extra hours travel time and hours sitting waiting again on the repair. Nothing. Fast forward to a few weeks later when I took my car in to a VERY reputable auto service shop for an oil change…. By the way they do a thorough inspection of suspension and brakes complimentary. Turns out there is an ankle leak: Let’s keep in mind that I just had front left and right sway bars and boots allegedly replaced by the dealership. Why wouldn’t this have been taken care of while they were working on the front end suspension?? I emailed Tom the service manager to inquire of this and his reply was that it wasn’t leaking at the time of service at dealership. Except that was a lie. Because I took my car for an oil change in November at a Colorado branch of the above mentioned auto service shop and they had mentioned the leak as well and gave me photos. I am highly disappointed in the service department at Posner Park Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat. The poor customer service, the non repairs and , the managements lack of acknowledgement of the above issues. Do they treat all customers with this lack of respect and courtesy, or just women? I won’t be back.

So, they want me to leave a review. I doubt they will be happy with this. I will start by saying that buying my Jeep at the dealership was great; no complaints there. Fast forward two days later, I called and let them know that my steering wheel was a little off-center. I spoke to someone in the service department. He said, "It's a new Jeep, drive it for about 600 miles, and if it's still the same, bring it in." What nonsense! I left and fixed it myself. Then, at about 3,000 miles, I noticed a chirping sound coming from my brakes when I applied them. I made an appointment, took it in, and they said they couldn't find anything wrong; nothing was loose, and the brake lines looked good. I said, "So, what is the chirping noise? Something is wrong; that's not normal." Again, he said, "It's a new Jeep; it's breaking in; it's normal." So, I left, and still, to this day, the chirping noise is there when I apply the brakes. Then, last week, I noticed... The rear of my Jeep is a little slanted. I checked underneath and realized that I could see some grease leaking from the shock. I wiped it off and made another appointment to take it in. I drove it over the weekend. Then, on the day of my appointment, I looked underneath the Jeep again and realized that both rear shocks were leaking grease. I went in for my appointment, and about an hour later, the service guy came and said that everything was done and that everything was fine. They didn't see anything wrong. I said, "What? You can't see the grease on the shocks?" He didn't want to acknowledge that there was a leak, but he did say that he could see a little grease and that it was normal. I said that it was not normal. He went to show me underneath another Jeep on the lot, and it was dry, so he couldn't prove his point. After going back and forth, he said that it wasn't serious. Enough to fix. If they did replace it and send it back to the manufacturer, the manufacturer would not consider it serious enough to reimburse them for the labor. And let me add, it's a brand new Jeep, under warranty, and they even convinced me to buy another $5k of additional protection—all for nothing!! I will never buy from this dealership again.
