Coastal Repertory Theatre — Attraction in Half Moon Bay

I brought tickets on Goldstar for the Dracula show. Went there theater closed with one note saying it’s close for today, can refund or reschedule. Excuse me? I drove about an hour here and now because of the traffic jam I have to do another 1-2 hour ride back. There was no food there either. And the lady happens to be at the door was like just go reschedule, I only got to take the pic of the note to email. The goldstar and the theater supposed to have both my mail and my phone number. A simple message the night before would avoid ppl drove for hours, stuck in traffic to a play that’s not gonna happen. Very frustrated with this place. Nobody can predict when or how long the power shut down will be, but I’m certain this customer service won’t go far. Goldstar don’t even let me comment, so this is the only place I can put it.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I sat through half of the Angels in America Play on July 2nd, 2022 (7:30pm showing). The play itself was well done until the cast lit and smoked a cigarette onstage for an extended period of time. I’m 7 months pregnant and the room was not ventilated, forcing me to inhale second hand smoke. I am still in shock. I was not able to leave the theatre before the smoke reached me. Had there been prior warning I would not have attended. The safety of myself and my child was completely disregarded. Beyond...

I live in Pennsylvania, but I travel to Half Moon Bay, CA, every chance I get. I love it there. I have seen at least 7-8 productions at CRT over the years. There is SO much talent on that stage and behind the scenes! The whole theatre community at CRT is wonderful! From the welcome at the front door to the lobby, the lobby bar, the ushers, the actors, the sets, costumes, make up, lighting, etc! WOW! I’ve seen this theatre grow over the last few decades....
