Herold's Farm Market — Attraction in Hanover Township

So is a bummer post. I have been shopping here for 20 years. We have always been happy with the service and products from here. Spent 100s$ annually. Recommended to so many people. BUT NEVER AGAIN! my daughter bought a hanger for me as a gift on Saturday, by Saturday afternoon it looked pretty sick. Moist, but watered it anyway. Sunday looked very sick again, watered twice. By this morning looked just about dead. I called Herolds to inquire, they told me to bring it in and have it looked at. I will not go into detail other than the owner was extremely disrespectful, yelling at me that I did not water it. In telling him that I did it turned into a full on argument. He yelled at my daughter and me. Totally uncalled for. Told us to pick a new one after he pulled the sick one out of my daughter's hand. i bought a beautiful hanging plant for my mother this past weekend for the holiday. come this afternoon, the plant looked sickly despite being watered numerous times. my mother and i called to ask for some help and were told to come in to get it checked out. when we arrived everything was calm and the staff was kind in getting us the owner. he, however, was extremely rude. he basically considered my mother and i idiots for not watering our plant (mind you, we had been). my mother tried to explain that she wasn't an expert and we simply wanted advice. the owner continued to degrade us and cause a scene. he even made me cry and left me shaking. all we wanted was to help our plant prosperity especially since it was a gift. there was no need to be so defensive and rude. we need...

In my experience, Herold’s has historically been a great provider of healthy plants at fair prices. However, my family and I have noticed a decline in the friendly service mindset this season. The associate we worked with this afternoon was rough when counting plants and flowers brought to the counter.
