Malacari’s Ice Cream — Restaurant in Hanover Township

As of today, Tuesday January 19, 2021 The web site and Facebook both say the Hanover Township location will be open all winter, 12:00-9:00 there are also signs at the Plains and Wilkes-Barre locations that say go to the Hanover Township location... no where does it say closed for the winter except when you arrive at the fully lit Hanover location do you discover a tiny sign scribbled “closed for winter” plus, there are no phone numbers on the web site or Facebook either. We have never been here and will never return because they have no decency to update web information! If I could give zero stars I would. We loved coming here for ice cream. Went on Tuesday and Sat at their outside patio and didn’t even get to eat any of our ice cream because as soon as we sat down I was attacked by 5 wasps. All stung on my hand. Went in and told them and all they said was “we will put a note on it so no one else sits at THAT table.” Excuse me what? Called their deli store for a manager and been 2 days and nobody has called back. Everywhere I turn there is Malacari's ice cream! Rightfully so because this is some delicious ice cream. Great price and portions that make you wonder how its possible the ice cream is not falling off. I am a frequent visitor to Malacaris because as if it couldnt possibly get better it does they have a drive thru at this particular location! Lines are not long and service is fast. All without getting out of the car and under ten bucks to enjoy some ice cream on a hot day I cant think of a better deal. One last thing, they have pumpkin flavored everything!
