My family had an incredible experience at Snow Riders this weekend. I was so impressed with how safe, organized, and well-staffed it was. Every single staff member we interacted with, from the check-in counter to the safety briefing to the lane supervisors, was extremely friendly and genuinely seemed to be enjoying themselves too. The rules and safety guidelines were clearly and explicitly stated and were also well-enforced. The staggered ticket times ensured that there were no long waits, even on a Saturday we never had more than a few people in front of us in a lane. My five-year-old enjoyed riding the magic carpet almost as much as riding the slopes and requests to be pushed, race each other, etc. were accommodated without hesitation by the staff members at the top. One staff member complimented my daughter’s dino jacket and she was on cloud nine. I truly can’t say enough good things about our experience. We will absolutely be back!!

Went on a Monday evening, during their lighted session. Would say the added dancing of lights, under the night sky, adds to the enjoyment of the ride down. There were 11 different slopes, with 1 and 11 designated for smaller/child riders. Each slope did offer a slightly different ride. I think this depends on a lot of factors, though it's safe to say, each lane is not created equal. This particular night, slope 5, 9, & 10 offered a speedy and unpredictable experience. From higher speeds, to sudden spins as you slide down. Staff is friendly and will offer their tips on particular techniques for a different experience down. Good fun for all ages. Should get a good 6 rides down, perhaps more of you really hustle.

Super fun! Come dressed appropriately and ready to tube! Check in on top of the hill in the large building. Sign waiver online for each person tubing to safe time. Short safety video in the check in area. Then walk down to have some fun! They may or may not let you link tubes together depending on the conditions. You get faster with linked tubes and as an adult, so kids going alone are actually a bit safer. My very brave 5 yr old went alone, but smaller kids may be too scared. No kiddie hill-just the long runs in the pictures. Only one person per tube! Plenty of attentive staff. Priced right for what you get! You won’t regret going. We had a blast at the disco music and lights show booking slot!

I'd like to give 3.5 but it won't let me select a half anymore. Anyway: The PROS: The facility is nice. The individual lanes make it a good experience. They had music playing. Even though we haven't really had a decent snow in the area this year the machine made snow was cool. The staff were friendly. The CONS: There were only about 20 people at the safety video so I thought it wouldn't be crowded. More people constantly showed up on the slope during the whole 1.5 hour time we had. It got quite crowded. We got to go down the hill 7 times and we were hustling getting back on the lift and picking lanes at the top, so we couldn't have gotten more in. Being that it was $60 a person it seemed a little expensive at $8.50 per slide. We averaged a slide about every 11.5 minutes. I timed the lift and it takes 6 minutes. The main issue was the other patrons. Everyone wanting to stop at the top or bottom of the slide to take pictures, waiting so the whole family could go down multiple lanes at once, and whatever else people were doing to hold up the lanes. Basic self-centeredness. There was also one point where the lift stopped for a minute or two.

Could easily be a 5 star place if it were a little less expensive, or a little less overbooked, and (sadly) if part of the orientation explained that people paid to snow tube, not stand there and wait for you while you create the perfect instagram moment on the slopes, and then the staff...

I want to be very fair with this assessment by saying that this place has the potential to be one of the most fun winter spots in the area but #1 the current mild winters in the panhandle make it very challenging to get a good snowbed and #2 they have been open only a few weeks and staff is definitely in the learning phase of this enterprise. That all said some things they do really well. Booking, check-in, safety review and getting you out to the run all works really seamlessly. The tubes they have are very nice and the magic carpet works well (if a bit slow). Staff are friendly and directive, making sure everyone has a good and safe time. The runs are fast without being frightening (I've been to some others that definitely felt out of control). Also a cool feature if you want is they have a photographer on staff who will get nice photos of you that can be purchased afterwards online. Okay now for the downsides. As I mentioned this is a new facility and some kinks need to be worked out. Currently the volume of guests during a weekend session means that if you really hustle you might be able to do 5 runs in your time. At a price of $48 a rider that is a pretty steep price per run. Realistically you will probably only get 4 runs in. I'd recommend trying to go during the week for both lower pricing and to get more runs in. I am certain that with a bit more time the already adequate visitor experience will...

Went for tubing recently. There are way too many people to get a good number of runs in. Got 6 runs in in 1.5 hours. The tubing its self was fun but it was super crowded, long lines at the top at the bottom and on the conveyor. Would be better if the space was more limited to not have so many people at once. Staff was nice and helpful the facility is nice and clean just too many people to get you monies worth for runs.

Im editing my review down to 2 stars for the tone deaf response. Come on a weekday when you're less busy? I came when I could with my kids. You guys have restricted numbers for rafting tubing and zipplining that make for a quality experience. Adventure course is great experience.

Further limiting the number of people for snow tubing times would greatly enhance the experience at $60 a person for 1.5 hours and 6 runs comes out to 10$ per run and 15 minutes per run just isn't worth it and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Your staff were constantly inundated, and I'm sure if asked, they would also prefer fewer customers. Not everyone can just take off in the middle of the week to come when it's less busy. You know why it's less busy during the week? Because people work. I've had other great experiences here, the tubing, and your response was not one of them.

I'm not asking for anything but for you to look at reducing the number of people for the time slots provided to enhance the experience...
