My wife and I traveled 2 hours to get to the Lavender Farm.Upon arriving we had about a 15 to 20 minute wait sitting in our car trying to get and having to wait for a parking spot.No one is there to help you get a parking spot. When we finally got a parking spot we went into the gift shop to find out where their restroom facilities were.We were told that they did not have any bathroom.facilities.We asked if they had a bout house.and the answer was no.At that point there was no way we could have walked down paths to Lavender fields having to pee.At that point we had to leave after being there for 10 minutes and driving 2 hours to get there. We found a store on our drive home with facilities thank God.Their Lavender plants were way over priced at $19.99 because when we got closer to home we stopped and got Lavender plants, 8 inch pots for $11.99.We bought 8 plants, brought them home and planted them in our garden and their beautiful.I saved $8.00/plant buying them elsewhere which was a total of $64.00.We were quite disappointed in the Lavender Farm, would never go back and definitely not recommend...
Read moreI bought several products there last week: soap, lotion, massage oil, sachets, and facial toner. When I used the toner it smelled funky so I thought maybe we got a bad bottle so I brought it back. The people working there smelled it and said that's how it's supposed to smell and that it's not made for it's scent. All of the bottles for sale smelled different than the sample bottle! I asked if I could exchange it for another product. They did let me, but not without a lot of nasty attitude (sighs, and "just so you know, it's not made for the scent"). I don't care how good your products are if you treat your customers like they're annoying you, I'll take my business elsewhere. It's called bait and switch when the product you get is different than the sample, and it's illegal. I should have gotten a refund and an apology, but instead I...
Read morei have a passion for lavender and have been lucky to visit many lavender farms in four different countries but this one here on Cape Cod is one of my favorites. It is a small family-run business with a magical feel set way back in the woods. It’s a one-way road down a rugged lane (signs are posted) and you feel transported back in time away from contemporary stressors and overbuilt developments. The tiny gift shop is packed with products and a whimsical fairy house is nestled near one of the walking paths. This is not Disneyland (visit Cuffy’s Boardwalk in nearby Dennis if you want bustle!) - this is nature. It’s a working farm and their products...
