I'm not really sure why I continue to give this store a chance. For the third time in 6 months, I've tried to buy a different game here only to find out they don't have it in stock. You're a game store - stock your games. None of these games are obscure, old ones either. I tried calling before I came in, but of course no one picked up the phone. To make matters worse, they can't say when it will come in. "Orders are iffy" I'm told. OK, so ship it to me. "We can't. You can download the app and ship it from one store to ours." OK, so Amazon can ship it to my house, why would I do that? Finally, today when I got my own bad news some other customer that was already inside had called the cops before I got there because they rung up some kind of return for him but the system failed and they couldn't give him his money. But they kept what he sold them. I wasn't there for the confrontation, and normally I'd be really suspicious of a customer. But the cops show up, the kid behind the counter can't print a receipt. "Only my manager can do that, if you guys can come back tomorrow she can do it." The cops stared at him and said "yea, we're not coming back tomorrow." It was unreal. I feel bad for the kid for sure, because his management either hasn't trained him or hasn't given him access to things he needs to run the store effectively (he was stuck there by himself). When I left the cops were demanding that the manager come in, and the customer was pretty PO'd for good reason. I think it's Amazon for me...
Read moreTLDR: store is never "open" even when it's supposed to be. Don't bother coming.
I showed up at 10:30am the posted store hours say open at 10. There was an employee in the store but the sign said closed with no open time. This isn't the first, nor the second, or even the third time I've visited this store during regular hours and it's been closed. Just close it for good since it's never open anyway. Waste of gas to even try going to this location.
2 years ago this was my favorite GameStop. The manager Jon was the absolute best. Always helpful, always professional, actually listens to the customer.
The store management changed to Taylor and the store still did very well. However, since her leaving the store seems to be questionable. They do not seem very willing to answer the phone regardless of when you call. I will attest that they do at least call their customers to inform them of when their pre-orders come in so that is a good thing they have going for them. I hope that moving forward they will continue to do good things once they can get regular staff in the store again and do not have such a high...
Read moreFor a chain store it is a solid option for your having needs. The staff are friendly and helpful regardless of what you're looking for. Decent selection of games for the various systems. The staff isn't overbearing and doesn't try to push things/options on you like some of the other Gamestop stores tend to do.
This store is a decent size and has Funko Pop figures as well a other types. A large selection of then are available for your purchase.
In the end the store is recommended for the excellent staff/support. As well as a solid number of options between games, hardware /items, as well as other assorted items such as figures, etc. If you're in the area I would recommend this location over numerous other spots. Preordering games, etc. Is quick and easy as it is in most locations but as I already stated it is nice not to be pushed and hassled into trying to purchase more then what I want or an looking for at that moment. Thankfully this location with the current manager is great and makes this process simple without any baggage. Recommended if you're looking for a good place to get games or other...
