Swell Art : Gallery + Gifts — Attraction in Hatteras Island

This is still a great place to find fun and even useful items. Bought some new fabric covered hair clips (loved the ones I bought last year… needed more shapes and colors!) And have a new rag rug in great colors, some pin on buttons, and some cute small bowls for fun food spices prep. This is the second year we found April at the new location (front part of Swell Motel in Buxton on right side when heading South on 12– yellow building can’t miss it!). I forgot all my watercolor and acrylic art supplies this trip. I’ll have to come back and buy some so I can indulge in some art while down here for two weeks! First time visiting this store and I am in love and I would come here every day if I could, because of the local artist art and of course the shop cat Honey Bun!!! I could spend hours in April's amazing gallery/shop. It is a must see every time we visit the OuterBanks. There are beautiful and unique pieces of art and gifts--- some from local artists. My husband and I also love the music playing in the store. Ask for a card with the playlist! I love shopping for gifts here and April kindly offered to place the bracelets in gift boxes.
