The only reason it’s not lower is because the youngest kid in the store last week helped us with waders, he’s a good kid. I won’t mention what he said about ‘Lil Bob’ but it was appropriate. We stopped to buy a $90 item, kid asked ‘Lil Bob’ if they had one. He said there should be one out. He walked over to look, said “hmm, will you be here tomorrow?, I’ll have to go upstairs and get one out of the attic”.

Don’t go out of your way ‘Lil Bob’. He went back to putting line on a reel.

Next day we returned. “Lil Bob” hadn’t gone upstairs, in fact he left town and went to SC.

Youngest kid went upstairs and looked for 20 minutes. Returned with nothing. Other young man went upstairs and looked as well. No luck.

Thanks “Lil Bob”, we bought one at Frank and Fran’s.

I'm not familar with the hatteras area. I saw a seafood store and I had been looking for one so i could bring some fresh seafood back home with me. We pull into the parking lot thinking it was the seafood place it wasn't it was beside it. We get out to walk next door real fast and The owner of red drum tackle shop comes out and rudely shouts at us to pull our vehicle next store if were not coming in their store because parking fills up quick...okay so there was no one in the parking lot but US... but he approached us with a disrespectful attitude... he went about it the wrong way. If he had been POLITE about situation I wouldn't be writing this review. Also when we need fishing supplies in the future we will GO ANYWHERE...

A huge shout out to Travis at the Red Drum Tackle Shop! He "hooked" me up with an awesome surf rod and reel. Being my first bait casting reel, I had lots of questions and Travis had expert advice and answers. His patience with me was incredible, much needed and much appreciated.

This will be my go to tackle shop when at the Outer Banks. The store is clean, well stocked with most everything you could want for your fishing adventure, and to top it off, the staff ROCKS, too. Thank you Travis, Kitty, Jason, and Charlie!

As a side note, with my new rod and reel in hand, I hit the beach and had the best time I've ever had not catching a fish and practicing my cast without any...
