We stumbled upon this tea stand completely by chance on our drive from Hilo to the other side of the island, and it ended up being one of the most memorable parts of our trip. Susan’s brother was running the shop that day, and he absolutely made my whole day with his kindness, stories, and passion for what they do.
We sampled their black tea (which I usually need to sweeten, but this one was perfect on its own!) and I ordered a mango tea with hibiscus that was incredible — light, refreshing, and full of flavor. I couldn’t resist buying a little bit of their black tea to bring home.
He showed us a short video of how Susan makes the tea — she seems amazing — and even gave us a tour of the area, pointing out the butterfly pea flowers and gifting us a Jamaican passion fruit. There’s a gorgeous stream next to their shop, and I honestly could have stayed there all day just talking with him and soaking in the scenery.
If you’re anywhere near here, make sure to stop here. It’s more than just tea — it’s an experience filled with heart, beauty, and a...

I’d share a photo of our drinks and snacks but we devoured them too quickly… Mahalo for the friendly new experience my...
