While I'm sure this place is full of info, and a nice tour, I didn't enter past the gate because it costs $20, which I wasn't keen on paying for a self-guided tour. The lady taking payment was very nice and understood my reversal in gusto. They have a bowl of raw macadamias and a nutcracker where one can crack your own and eat them. They're a little sweet and less strong tasting bc they're not toasted nor seasoned. I got an pamphlet. This is just a short 2 minute drive from Greenwell Coffee Farm.

The bread gets 5 stars. Cooked in a traditional outdoor Portuguese stone oven. Great place to learn and see a classic baking process. Parking is easy and there are boards to read and learn more about the area. It's a short 100 yard walk to a great coffee farm as well.

We only did the bread from the traditional stone, wood fired Portuguese oven, but man, oh man that bread is awesome ! Especially the Hawaiian sweet bread. Only available on Thursdays.. around noon Yum.

This is a must place to visit! We do this every time we visit the Big Island. Make rolls and then buy them to eat. This is every Thursday. Sweet rolls are the best! They also give a tour of the coffee farm. The people are very friendly and helpful. The kids enjoy learning how to make the rolls. Very sanitary! They made a garlic loaf and it sold out in no time. I was not able to get one but it smelled so good! They also make...

Relaxing area. Stay around for the ranger talk, they know their stuff. They tell you about the area, culture and the history of the whole island. I had two smaller kids and they seem to enjoy it. You are walking look at artifacts and buildings. Pick up a booklet on the way in from the ranger. That tells you about the different spots on the park. There is a snorkel area maybe a block away (if that) that has...
