Kona Historical Society Offices — Attraction in Hawaii

While I'm sure this place is full of info, and a nice tour, I didn't enter past the gate because it costs $20, which I wasn't keen on paying for a self-guided tour. This is a must place to visit! We do this every time we visit the Big Island. Make rolls and then buy them to eat. This is every Thursday. Sweet rolls are the best! Relaxing area. Stay around for the ranger talk, they know their stuff. They tell you about the area, culture and the history of the whole island. I had two smaller kids and they seem to enjoy it. You are walking look at artifacts and buildings. Pick up a booklet on the way in from the ranger. That tells you about the different spots on the park.
