I love this beach... Yeah you have to pay for parking ($10) but then the sand here is quite amazing. Some of the beaches have a rocky shores which can be irritating to other swimmers especially the ones that doesn't want to swim, who just wants to hang around the beach. Water is clear and clean! Due to its location (South West of Maui) the water here is a bit warmer. Why? Because the Sunrises on this side of the island, therefore the sun hits the water first thing in the morning which makes it warmer compare to other beaches. I didn't know this until one kind Local explained it to me. I have nothing bad to say about this Beach well except the $10 fee. PS: oh and the sand here... The sand is absolute amazing. You know how sometimes the sand are a bit rough like the black sand beach well this is the total opposite 😅

The best beach in Maui. Period. Little Beach is a hidden gem. To get to it, you just haveto climb a small path between two big rocks on Big Beach. It sounds more difficult than it is. I can not recommend this beach enough. Yes, it's a nude beach. If you're not ok with that then stick to Big Beach. You'll be sorely missing out, though. The beach has the best sand bottom we found across the numerous beaches we went to, with no rocks and nice smooth sand. The water was wavy, but not overly so. And there were a number of other people there but it didn't at all feel crowded. There's nothing quite like the freedom of being nude and if you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it. You would be amazed at how quickly it feels normal and freeing.

Another Update 3/2021: Little Beach is now open but with many restrictions and will be monitored closely by authorities. Update 1/11/21: Little Beach is closed due to very large crowds partying without masks. A few ruin it for the rest of us. Shame on them. 2017: Little gem of a beach, fairly well known because of its clothing optional policy, so beautiful! The waves are serene, the water seems a deeper blue! Park at Big Beach, where there is a local Taco truck and porta-potties, hike across the beach and over the hill to get to Little Beach. The hike is a bit difficult since recent rain has caused some damage, especially if you're carrying chairs, etc., and wearing flip flops, be careful. Put sunscreen on your buns🍔

Little beach is a beautiful spot, surf breaks quick but farther out than big beach which is a plus for surfing or just swimming in smaller waves. Sundays it can get more crowded as there is an awesome drum and music vibe going on. A lot of tourists come out here to see the nude beach, if you have a problem with nudity stay away. The vibe is generally cool and hey its Mo betta surfing naked for a quick sec. If you want to lay on the beach naked without a ton of people around I suggest another beach. Mostly cool vibes and chill people. If you want to enjoy the water not be bothered, chill in a hammock, listen to music or read a book this is a good spot.
