Beautiful beach but as one other reviewer put it, you must respect the waves. Be careful with children! My son and I stepped a few feet into the water when a large wave came and nearly swept him away had I not been holding his hand tight. I still have nightmares about it and this was several years ago....

One of the best beaches in Hawaii. It is absolutely beautiful and you must respect the waves! Visitors, the water is not safe for small children or inexperienced swimmers. If the waves are big please stay out of the water. Great place to spend the day enjoying the sunshine and...
