Summit Sprouts Nursery — Attraction in Hayden

Summit Sprouts... what can I say? I loved Judy's nursery, and every year turned to them to buy my spring plantings of tomatoes, peppers, and other veggies for my gardens. I was thus truly saddened when Judy eventually retired, and the nursery closed... only to reopen as Summit Sprouts under new ownership. But WOW, what a great nursery Summit Sprouts has turned out to be over the last two summers. If you are in the market for FRUIT TREES, landscape trees, or maybe just garden accessories (wind chimes, spinners, water falls, etc.)... or for a wide selection of flower baskets, seeds, cacti, garden plants, etc, Summit Sprouts is a must go! Went as a family to look and buy some flowers and we were having a great time walking and looking around and as soon as we went to pick up some flowers that we were gonna buy, one of the dogs bit our son in the face unfortunately. staff did apologize and just said the dog had never done that and that there were some kids pulling on her earlier in the day and just went back to the checkout station. Definitely think the dogs should be closer to staff and not completely unattended for the dogs safety and for the safety of families walking with...

Had everything I wanted today. Very knowledgeable and helpful woman helped check me out. I filled my cart! Things turned a little south when a truck backed over my filled cart in the parking lot. 🙃 The owner came out to see me, and though he did not have to, he replaced the 2 unsalvageable plants. And gave me lil baggie of fertilizer. I felt the care and concern and I appreciate that. I forgot to buy the lilac I wanted and I'd like some fruit trees. So I will be returning soon.
