Very rude cashier on Sept 2, 2022. She shushed me repeatedly. Literally "shhhhhhhhhuuuush". Spoke rudely and disrespectfully to me and her fellow employee, I guess because I dared be at the register at 15 mins to 5:00 with 7 boxes of tile? One with a very shattered tile on top. I wanted to make certain the rest of the box was okay before buying. (There was one customer behind me in line, for context. Not busy at all.)Thanks to a very helpful man working there, we had it resolved and out of the store by 4:55. He also helped me load heavy tile into my vehicle. I would give him 5 stars. I am not a "Karen" or "get the manager type" and was being very polite. I just do not have money to throw away on a box of broken tiles, but they matched the other boxes that I needed. I was actually shocked by her attitude and am angry with myself for not just leaving without making the purchase. I have never had anyone be so rude just because customers were in the store near closing and because I tried to read off the price of the tile after she entered it wrong at first. (Thus, the shushing) I spent over $130. So not an insignificant profit for a donation store that is supposed to be all about helping people. Upon reading reviews, she seems to be universally rude. Any store that would continue to employ this human to work with the general public deserves 1 star. Even my 11 year old daughter was upset. She wanted to yell, "quit being mean to my mom, you old lady", but did not, because even at 11, she has more manners...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot very thrilled with this store. Front desk girls are abrasive and rude. Pricing is super strange, I will go in one day and they will have a beautiful piece of workout equipment priced right, then two weeks later they will get a different piece that isnt in good shape and literally price it for 3 times as much. Same thing with appliances. Guy who runs the yard (bill I believe) has a pretty good idea of where thrift store prices should be, who ever prices stuff inside has no clue. Went in the other day and saw a pine tree fan for $200. When I googled the exact fan, brand new, it came up as $150. When I asked management they were rude and abrasive about why it was priced like that. Its happened over and over and I'm simply finished shopping there.
Oh, on a side note. There have been multiple instances of me offering an amount for an item only to be rudely rejected, then later seen that item discounted and even sold to someone different for the amount I offered. Ya, a change needs to be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHaving donated house appliances and other furniture and having never been in the store before I was quite suprised maybe not in a good way. First I tried to deliver a ceiling fan and light assembly to them in working order. I was told they don't take any fixtures with gold patina. On my way out of the drop yard I though that to be very wrong. I know there are people out there that have been able to use this no mater what color it was especially in the heat of the summer. So I decided to go in. Much to my suprise it's a huge thrift store with lots of different items. First thing I saw was a table and chairs for $400. In some respects I thought alot of the items I have given over the years would be give to someone in dire need and not sold. I realize that people That work there need to get paid. What I was looking at was another thrift store with a hugh collection of some over priced items and junk. I do hope a large portion of What is sold...
