This used to be a hopping place to go: It's open 24 hours, which is great if you're a shift worker, but, they've closed their restaurants(which used to be 24 hours) at 11pm. My husband and I would go in there to get some food after he was done work. Now, it's kind of pointless if you're hungry at midnight. Business in this establishment has slowed to such a degree, they keep a skeleton service staff on board, late at night. A bartender is responsible for cocktailing the casino floor and tending the bar. Good luck getting a drink. It's not the bartender's fault the place is too thrifty to employ a waitress for such a large place, he/she is always friendly. There are many different types of games to choose from, including plenty slots if you're on a budget and still want to have some fun. My main gripe with this place is that since business has begun to die out here, and, they've closed the restaurants too early, there is an undesirable element that parks itself in the seats at night. Normally, there's a mix of blue collar folks and seniors playing or drinking. Now, it's mostly sketchy people, not playing, standing around looking like they're waiting to make a drug deal. Seriously. The neighborhood isn't bad, residential and quiet for the most part, so it surprised us that these people were in the building. Dirty, homeless types sitting around the room. So, combined with them closing the restaurants, very little service staff, and the just-got-out-of-jail crowd, I don't recommend this place. If you're looking to kill time or can't sleep, a different establishment might be safer and more fun. I really hope they fix whatever went wrong with this casino. It used to be an awesome...
Read moreI was there on a Friday night 9:00 PM. Played for over two hours and never saw a Cocktail waitress unless they were leaving out the door. I asked several porters if they could help me get a drink or waitress. They said I needed to talk to someone else as they busily stuck to their cleaning chores. Service light button on the machines at the bank I was playing on, Slot Row #617-01, Asset #11701, BUFFALO Machine didn't work. Security came by after two hours. I asked for assistance and was told to go to the bar if I wanted something to drink. I guess he thought I wanted to stop playing my machine, but having invested $140.00 in it, I didn't want to leave and allow others to sit at the machine I had invested my money so heavily in and be there when or if it started to finally pay off. It never did! Finally, I just couldn't stand it any more. I needed water, beer or something in fluid so I cashed out and walked to the cage/Guest Service Center to have them pay my ticket out as the printer in the machine I played was running out of ink and barely printed a legible ticket. I spoke with a manager in black suit who was talking with the cage cashier. He gave me a half apology stating; "I have told them about this before." I guess that is supposed to make me feel better about getting the "WORST" Customer Service in any casino in Nevada since I moved here in 1992. I work as Security in the customer service industry in a major LV Strip resort. I now understand why it is not even 11:30 and this casino has emptied out. Their Customer Service is non-existent and noone here seems to care. Never here again!! You can bet I will tell my friends and family + co-workers not to come to the...
Read moreClub Fortune is a smaller casino, a local favorite, located on the outskirts of Henderson just off of Boulder Hwy. It makes for a nice pit stop if your travelling to Lake Mead and/or Hoover Dam. There isn’t any overnight accommodations but does have a cafe, Club 725, and a counter order grill called Baskets. Mentioning baskets, there is a hamburger basket that comes with fries for only $2.99! The casino has upgraded many of the machines to the newest models yet still have the older favorite models if you prefer them. Become a rewards member and receive all the benefits offered monthly whether it be free play, dining vouchers, or bonus games or offers that you access on the kiosk machines by swiping your rewards card. Every weekend there are scheduled cash winning drawings that gives you a chance to win extra cash by your card number/name being drawn. There is 2 bars with plenty of seating to watch the highlighted games of the week. The establishment could use a facelift but it is a decent place to gamble. I did experience a UNFORTUNATE episode that I do need to share. My battery had died and I asked security for a jump or to use a battery charger and they had these items but would not let me use them stating policy. I had my own long extension cord and a battery charger and would not allow me to use the outlet either. I was stuck there for three hours until early morning. Finally, a nice customer arriving for the day gave me a jump. So my advice is to make sure you will not need any assistance and your battery is fully charged before gambling at Club...
