I hate this but I have to say be careful with this establishment. IHOP on Boulder has completely gone down hill.
I took my kids to have lunch since they enjoy it. Unfortunately I’m extremely grossed out a upset.
The customer behind us complained about her tomato’s being rotten and not even thinking that once I received my side salad I had to send it back because it had cheese I said no dairy. So once I got my second salad I finally started to eat it and my onions were rotten and soft and moldy tasting… and my salad was chunks of lettuce not even cut just as if they grabbed it and ripped it and put it on the plate.
I order the sirloin. When I finally received that it was flatter than a damn child’s cheeseburger and the rice I ordered on the side was looking buttery and slapped on my plate. I sent my food back and won’t be coming back. If my children weren’t as hungry as they were and if I didn’t already receive their food I would of gotten up and left. This place is sad. The service even took way to long this is at 1:20 pm it was dead maybe a total of 12 total.
Also the sad part is the service took long because the poor waitress was dealing with all the other customers that were in the establishment, even though there wasn’t very many and once she heard about the issues even with the onions she immediately tried getting them fixed, but both managers on duty stated to her that it is what it is and there’s nothing that they will do. And the other manager that got told about all the other complaints of the issues that we had. She looked at me straight in the face and walked away, and did not even care nor to try to discuss or nothing about the situation. It seems to me that this poor waitress needs to be the manager of the establishment and the other ones...
Read moreTook my parents out to eat Saturday morning arrived around 840 very few people in restaurant maybe 1/3 full if that . Rush hadn't came yet. Took twenty minutes or so to get seated. I literally ordered a side of hashbrowns and toast for myself because how hard could it be to screw that up. Well about 40 minutes later the food came for everyone but me. The toast came but took almost another 15-20 minutes for the hashbrowns. If the person owning this franchise thinks the service we experienced today is even close to being acceptable this location is going to be out of business in no time unless they are already on the way out. Haven't been here in almost two years because frankly it is managed poorly and nothing has changed, in fact this was by far the worst experience ever. No tip should have been left however a very small one was out of pity. Completely unacceptable. Needless to say we won't be back. My parents also mentioned they went there by themselves a week ago and the same scenario happened. This is the fault of the management and no one else's. It's a shame when you go out to treat family for food and 1/2 of the time you spend trying to enjoy your time with them is spent on how poorly the place is being managed. Not to mention how the servers are going to suffer from poor tips as well. Very very disappointing. Best of luck regaining customers after experiences like this you are going to lose a lot and word of mouth goes a long...
Read moreIt's been a while since I've been to this location. The last time I went here was when they were doing their International House of Burgers promotion, or iHob. We got seated almost immediately to a table, got told about the happy hour, and chose options from their happy hour menu. We ordered an appetizer and two main breakfast items. I got a ham and cheese omelet, and my friend got some chicken, with a side of pancakes. We waited a good while for our appetizers to be delivered, and as we waited it sounded chaotic in the kitchen, with glass breaking. We got our appetizer and it was good. Later we got our food, and it was just saddening. My ham and cheese omelet was just barren, with just slaps of American cheese atop of a plain omelet. I ate half of the meal, hoping for a single bite of ham, but it was nowhere in the omelet. My friend's chicken tasted dry, and burnt. Their pancakes were also disappointing to her. At this point I just wanted to leave, from the chaos and watching the other tables have similar issues that we have. When we got the check, they charged double the happy hour price for the appetizer, and it just was confusing to read. The waiter did give up a correct receipt after. We paid then left it. The staff was making the best of what they can do. It was just an uneasy feeling to eat there.
Happy hour...
