Hialeah Gardens Branch Library — Attraction in Hialeah Gardens

It is a fantastic library. It's just a little bit loud during the day. Evenings can be loud, too, due to the children in the children's library. Several Senior Citizens come in and speak loudly. It is what it is. They have a right to be here, too; just be prepared by bringing in some headphones for yourself if you wish to work, study, read, or attempt to be in a quiet place. The Library offers private rooms to work out of, but you must reserve those ahead of time.

I would love to have given this library a higher score, but as the noise level is higher than I would like it to be, it ceases being a library when it is noisy. Therefore, I am giving the Google score two stars out of 5.

While I was there, a group of Library Employees spoke loudly nearby. Just know that it is a characteristic of this place and that you must embrace it. If you need a truly quiet place to clear your mind, though, this place will not be that...

What a disappointment. It is a nice library since its so new, however if you want to study in a quiet environment I WOULD NOT recommend this library. The receptionist has full on conversations out loud, the kids area is SUPER loud. A library is supposed to be a quiet place. When I called before arriving, the receptionist specifically mentioned it being a "really quiet place", lol I should've known that was a lie. Not coming here again. If you work at a library I think the management team should make their whole entire staff aware of the fact of using their inside voices. What a great ambiance and educational place for kids. Their craft activities are incredible!!!! We have come some a couple of Thursdays to participate and Teresita and Yane don't disappoint 🥰 They always read a book in Spanish and then another in English which is great for my bilingual girls! After the read aloud craft activities are always done. They've done coloring, planted seeds, made drawings while using glitter paint and even used sand to recreate a beach for the first day of summer!!! I can only say good things!!! I wish this could be done more often... my girls enjoy it so much 🥰 Thank you for your hard work...
