First Priority Insurance — Attraction in Hialeah

In May 2023 I went through my agent, Diana Rios with First Priority Insurance Group, LLC, for my commercial insurance policy, as I had done for several years prior. There was a lot of confusion in regards to the down payment. I was advised to get cash and to deposit it directly into an associate of Diana's, bank account, with no explanation given. Once done, Diana immediately sent me proof of insurance so that I could provide it to my broker to continue working. Once this was complete, I did not hear from Diana again. My business mail was going to a relative's house, and approximately three weeks later, I received a phone call from them advising me that I had a certified letter there. The letter was basically telling me that the down payment Diana made on this policy was returned for non sufficient funds and thus the policy was cancelled and had been for several weeks. This essentially caused me to lose my contract with my broker and put me out of business. I reached out to Diana, because I didn't receive so much as a phone call to let me know what was going on. To make a long story short, Diana advised that she had filed for bankruptcy, her accounts were frozen, and we were just basically caught up in her mess, oh well, so sorry, basically. To make matters worse, Diana had my money and I had nothing to show for it. After several months of phone calls and broken promises in regards to my deposit, I wrote a bad review under her business. After avoiding me, she immediately reached out to me and promised that she would send me some money, which she did, but she still owes me a couple thousand dollars. She promised to send some of the money immediately and in exchange, I took the review down. After doing so, it was still one broken promise after another, and to date, I never have received the remainder of my deposit. I have waited this long to write a review because I was giving her the benefit of the doubt, but at this point, I am left without a policy, without a job and still waiting for the remainder of my deposit back. I was referred to this company by a good friend to get a bond to start my new business I sent over a payment in the amount requested might I mention patiently waiting and being ignored, however after finding out after numerous of call and non responsive messages and not to mention the bad attitude of the individual Diana I spoke to this company don’t even have the insurance I needed. She told me I had to be held accountable for 9days for insurance I never used that I didn’t even knew I had, after literally 27days I finally got a full refund but she was rude to the individual who referred me to her and he has been nice enough to send others to her. I usually consider doing reviews for companies however this was one I didn’t think twice about and wouldn’t recommend....

Every year I like to check for competitive insurance rates for our trucking company, I received an email advertisement from them in 2021 and decided to give them a call. Gio and Diana were extremely responsive and listened attentively to our needs. We had some areas of concern with our CSA score and Diana referred me to a former USDOT agent to help with our Safety rating. They went out of their way to help accommodate us and in the end First Priority presented us the most competitive quote.
