Where can I begin. First off, my posting will be in English, since this is my first language, born and raised in Miami, but I will also be doing this in spanglish, to mix it up, since were in the 305. Theirs a saying in life that sometimes is 100% correct, which is " lo barato sale caro" . This is the perfect example. I came here because my phone's Iphone screen was cracked and GROUPON of all places, had a coupon for like $60 bucks plus tax, fix any screens, etc. Since I've never had a bad experience with groupon and from what the reviews were telling me, I decided to drive to Hialeah, yes ""la ciudad que progresa"" I thought, pero en esta caso, no fue lo mio. They supposedly changed my display, only to find out that, 24 days later, doesn't work. I called them on the 11th of June, in a very polite manner to let him know if he remembered my phone, the display etc, and to tell him all of a sudden it stopped working. To give him the benefit of the doubt, he told me to go back to his store so he can take a look at it, but couldn't promise anything, so I decided i rather first take it to the Apple store in Dadeland to see what they tell me. Sure enough, two seconds, they told me the display was bad. I called them again to tell them I'm at the Apple Store and would like to have the technician talk to him, he hangs up the phone on me. I leave Apple and call him again, you can tell how that conversation went, almost 8 minutes and if you were on the other line, you would think were arguing over a $6,000 dollar bill. Again, I'm not here crying for $62.06 to be exact, it's the simple concept that the phones display is damaged & it hasnt even been 1 month and the phone was never dropped, etc & just want to give you the readers, my experience. Read moreI would not recommend this store to anyone!!!! I took my iPhone 8 plus there to have the screen and back replaced. Everything was working fine when i dropped it off. When I picked it up, the back of the phone (the back camera, flashlight and sim card slot) was not working. Alexi's coworker opened up the back of the phone and played with some things until the camera started working again. Alexi lied and told me that my sim card slot was not working because the "network" had me on a blocked list and once I got back to my home country, it would start working again (of course it didn't). He then held my phone over night saying that he would try to fix the issue but when I picked it up the next day, the back camera was not working and the other guy said that Alexi told him not to try and fix it again. The employees never took responsibility for this and the fact that I live in another country was a disadvantage to me. Now I am stuck with a phone that does not work and they charged me full price for damaging my phone. Beware of this shop and their unprofessional service. Read moreI brought in a Motorola Z2 Force to have the battery replaced. These phones are difficult to repair because of a flexible screen and a mid plate that the screen is mounted to. Because the screen needs to be heated to be removed there is a strong probability that damage to the screen will result from excessive application of heat. I spoke to Christine and she said that they could do the work, but that there may be some risk involved. She explained everything up front and made me aware of any issues that may arise. I took my phone in at 3:30 and by 5:30 David had it repaired. The Z2 force is a notoriously difficult piece of equipment to deal with but David's skill made quick work of it. I'm posting this review from my repaired phone and I want to say thank you to Christine, David and the wonderful people at Goods Smarts!
