Hailstone Visitor & Event Center — Attraction in Hideout

Hailstone Event Center was the perfect spot for our wedding! While it’s more of a flexible event space than a traditional wedding venue, it had everything we needed to make our day special. Nestled in Jordanelle State Park, the natural backdrop was stunning! Our ceremony and reception felt magical, and we received so many compliments from vendors and guests alike.

The space comes with tables and chairs, which saved us money and made setup much easier. We loved that it offered both indoor and outdoor options, giving us flexibility no matter the weather. Even without an on-site coordinator, the location was so accommodating, and everything came together beautifully. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place...

If you want to go here for the beach, don't. It's super crowded and parking is a nightmare. There is tons of beach that goes all over, but it's all gravel and packed with people. $20 for day use is a bit much for what it is. We had to drive in circles for 20 minutes to find a parking spot that was kinda far away from the beach. Only stayed for about an hour...

We helped decorate for a wedding reception at the Hailstone Visitor & Event Center. The venue was gorgeous. The staff there were very helpful and great to work with. We hope to work with them again Soon.
