It's a beautiful place, the only problem I have is that homesteaders Homestead here to make it so other people who want to enjoy the outdoors really can't.the campsites are taken. I was lucky to get four days in one without full hookups. I tried to make reservations a few times and they were book. I had to come here to see if I could get a spot. Well luck of the draw I got a spot 1 night and had to move next day to another spot and so it is really inconvenient. I will give this place five stars for the beauty of the place. But they need to work on how many days a person can be in a camp spot. I've been here 3 days and have seen 6 camp sites in this loop that have parked Rigs or trailers there and have not seen one person at any of them. So if you want to come for the day! That's great but to camp Good luck!

This campground is BEAUTIFUL. It is so peaceful and the water is amazing. Such a wonderful space to enjoy the outdoors with family a friends on paddleboards, boats, jetskis, canoes, kayaks, tubes, or just to swim. The bathrooms were clean which is a plus as they arent always so nice at other campgrounds. We spent almost 6 hours there with kids ranging from 20 months to 14 years and adults of all ages and everyone had a blast. A word to the wise though: make sure everyone has water shoes! You'll regret it if you don't. The shores are rocky and there are lots of hidden sticks and bigger rocks in the water. Other than that it's perfect!

I don't recommend it at all. To get in, we waited in line for over 30 minutes. Then, the women collecting admission told us the place was at capacity, but they kept charging admission and letting people in. Once inside, there were no signs to enter the parking lot next to it, so we looked for the entrance only to realize we'd left the place and now had to wait in a longer line and pay again. It was a disastrous experience. We lost our entry money and ultimately couldn't enjoy the place. We decided to go somewhere else, but that wasn't our plan, and it's not fair.

This campground is a nice good get away. Some of the sites have full hook-ups, some have partial hook-ups and then some have no hook ups. So you have options. The spots aren't very big and your neighbors are pretty close. Not a lot of privacy. Down towards the water there is a play area for kids. It's a quick drive to Park City or Heber. So if you need to run to the store or need your coffee fix it's not to long of a drive. Especially going into Heber. This campground is very large with a lot of camping sites. It is a very popular campground and spots go quick. I would recommend going on line and reserving a spot a few days in advance. You have a 50/50 chance of getting a spot if you decide to just go that day. If they do have spots it's pretty hard finding out from the people at the check in building. The girl that helped us was not helpful at all and didn't know which sites where available and which weren't. We wanted to stay an extra day and asked if there was another site we could move to. She just laughed and said no. But while we were staying here there were a lot of empty spots. If you do stay at a site that doesn't have hook-ups they do have a dump station but there is usually a wait and depending on which dump is available it can be tricky getting your truck and trailer in...

We were at Rockport looking for a place maybe to go stay cuz we bought a new trailer and we wanted some place to stay very nice Campground it's not the only one at Rockport and they are state-owned really nice campgrounds the upper ones very top the last one you go to has power and water but this one was close to the river and it was dry camping if you have a small trailer and a or a tan or camper or whatever you got nice place not that expensive but it's and it's really close to the river so you can fish right off the bank. I'm not staying there I just drove through it it's just really nice I like my power but this is privilege is no hookup so but it's one place you could probably always going to...
