Nice place for tent camping. Playgrounds in the campground are great for kids. Sites are reasonably spacious, but the tent pad in our site was barely large enough for our 10'x14' tent (so, it's as-advertised, but no larger). Restrooms are nice, and individual external-entry showers are available. Would have rated five stars, but for these few problems: the slab in our site was way out of plane, and a few of us tripped over it. The accessible water spigot right by our site (122) was broken. There was gear still set up in our assigned site when we arrived - we couldn't find the campground host, so had to go back to check-in to be assigned a new site. There was broken glass scattered around our slab and tent pad. As others have said, there is highway noise.

Our campsite was large and well maintained. The fire pit is huge. The park is beautiful. The 3 stars is due to the location of our campsite. Spot 140 sits about 150 yards straight below the highway. It was loud and it was like that 24 hours. It became background noise, but the idea of a big rig rolling down the hill into our campsite did not escape my thoughts. The park store is very limited on options and overpriced, which is to be expected. 7 bags of ice, a bag of jerky cost and a Frazil slushie ran us $72 and some change. Definitely a beautiful place!!

Nice campground, well managed and maintained. Signs and instructions clear. I camped in California a lot, first time in Utah. The bathroom and shower were the cleanest I’ve seen! And you don’t have to pay for shower. Highway noise is real, though manageable with earplugs during sleep. The entire loop C was kinda loud, loop D maybe a little better.

If you don't mind a large campground but want to be close to the lake, this fits the bill...kinda. We still had to drive to the beach which is fine...kinda. People drive too fast through the campground which I didn't like. It is a very large campground, like three in one. We happened to get a great site but some are quite close to each other. There was a small tent pad, bbq, table (which cant be moved) and camp ring which is highly raised in concrete, so you can't really sit close to it. Points for having a water spout and a playground. It's not my style of tent camping but we tried it. If you scored a site closer to the lake you might be able to walk to the beach but otherwise it's just bug bites and the campground is too big...

The campground itself is good. Pretty view. Lots of tent and RV sites, plus day use options. Tent site is pretty clean and has nice space and vegetation around it. I like the firepit especially.

However, facilities haven't been well maintained in some instances (my loop's bathroom leaves much to be desired). And even though quiet times are posted and they say it at the gate, apparently it is not enforced, even with a camp host in every loop. I haven't even seen a camp host and my spot is next to theirs. Some party across the loop is obviously having a good time, and it's 11:30 pm... As others have said, highway noise is a part of the tent area experience, but...
