Highland Beach Library — Attraction in Highland Beach

Not a welcoming library. Though the woman at the front desk was nice, the rules of this library are not, no wonder it was EMPTY. I couldn't even use the computer without dropping $75.00 since I'm a non-resident (who lives 2 miles away) and all I wanted to do was use the library to print 2 documents to get my son registered in school! I would have gladly paid $5.00 to use their computer and I would have gladly paid a couple quarters per copy.

Originally I gave this place 1 star, but with their unhelfulness I was forced to go a little futher, the Delray Beach library and what a marvel it is! So 2 stars for...

I had to meet friends and had time to burn so I asked my Waze library near me and this one came up. When I sat down and tried to access the internet it didn't surprise me that I couldn't. The library is small but packed with goodness. I will give 2 thumbs up for the chairs which are cloth and very padded. Even though I couldn't use the Wifi I was impressed with the little gem. I like restrictions it maintains order and besides the residents of Highland pay top dollar and deserve the right to exclude non residents. I hope the library is never inclusive to non residents. I think renters should pay more than 75.00 . Memo to renters get that card because...
