Rooms To Go Patio — Local services in Boca Raton

We were just delivered a Rooms To Go “top of the line” (their words) teak patio furniture set not even 3 weeks ago. I just went to remove the cushions because it is about to rain and when I did, the teak wood under the cushions is molded!! Not even 3 weeks old and this is the quality of their furniture!! Contacted the Boca store and was directed to their customer service center to let them know what was happening. Representative took less than 2 minutes to review and came back to the phone and told me they were not responsible but their stores sell teak cleaner that I can purchase! When we bought the furniture our sales person told us that she has this exact set and only has to have it maintained once a year. I find that hard to believe since this has happened in 3 weeks!! After she told me they do not take care of mold issues, I asked her what she suggested I do about the stained cushions and her exact response was “buy new cushions!” DO NOT PURCHASE PATIO FURNITURE FROM ROOMS TO GO PATIO - BOCA!! This furniture is not even in my home 3 weeks. It is outdoor furniture and she said that it’s because of the elements of it being outside!! IT’S OUTDOOR FURNITURE!! We have been waiting for the remaining pieces of this order to be delivered but instead we will be going in the store to CANCEL the remaining pieces yet to be received!! What a waste of money!!

5/23 As expected, “Zoe” (see their response) never reached out even though I left several messages with all my contact information. In addition, even sending an email to the VP of Customer Relations didn’t warrant a response from Rooms To Go. I finally reached someone in customer service after NUMEROUS attempts only to be told again that there is nothing they can do for us since they don’t cover mold. Of course they don’t because they would be admitting their furniture is poor quality. But hey, they did offer $50 for future furniture purchase! Like that will happen! No, instead, I have a teak professional coming out to repair my brand new furniture that Rooms To Go delivered molded! Convince me otherwise!

Word to the wise! Read the other Google reviews for the same issue with their teak! Avoid at all...

We were greeted and treated throughout the purchase process in a most professional manner by Micheala. Micheala offered to come to our home to do an assessment and space plan design for us to ensure we purchased exactly what we needed and not more. She didn't just know her products. It did not take us long to learn about her excellent design and customer interface skills. She was very patient and definitely not hard sell. She is a pro! She brought with her all of the resource materials and samples we needed to help us with our "buy" decision. The furniture arrived as promised and was delivered and installed by an excellent delivery team who took the time to place everything for us and with a smile. The entire experience was as good as it gets! We have been back several times since to purchase covers and other accessory items that gave us the finished look we wanted.
