Heritage Park — Attraction in Highland

The Highland Heritage Park is located next to the old Highland City Building (Now Community Center) is a 6-acre green space with plenty of trees, a baseball/softball field, Sand Volleyball Court, and Playground. The park pavilion provides access to electrical outlets, drinking fountain, and picnic tables for ~100 people. The pavilion has lights for evening hours. Reservations must be made for the pavilion and are free for highland residence. Restrooms are also available during the warmer months of the year. The park also has a dedicated space for the oldest known home in Highland dating back to 1890s which is well maintained with a black perimeter fence, flower planters, and commemorative monument stone. This park is a popular spot for hammocking and slacklining due to the cluster of trees near the north east side.
