I came here in the winter so it was pretty cold and bare, but also meant it wasn’t crowded. It was still fun though. There were a lot of shells scattered throughout the beach, notably horseshoe crab shells. In the early morning, you could see the sand pipers feasting on clams that they caught.

I also woke up one morning to see the sunrise. Very cold but also very beautiful. It was also cool to see the beach...

Hands down the best beach on Hilton Head in our family opinion. Less crowded and more people walking dogs and relaxing. Have to pay to park at the meters. 15 min for a quarter. Bring some quarters to pay for parking. It's a little bit of a walk to the beach from the parking lot but not too bad plus it's smooth and paved. We truly enjoyed it here. The second time we came there was a beach bunny we caught...

This beach is very beautiful but it's also very crowded and it has several resorts on the beach. There are several walk-up restaurants and live music entertainment. If this is something that you like you would love this Hilton Head destination. I really enjoyed my vacation at this...

Nice and clean entry point to the beach. There are restrooms, showers (one of them is out of service though), and a very handy water fountain with bottle filler. Although I didn't use it, there is a metered parking lot right across S Forest Beach Dr.
