Proud to announce that I have exceeded my goals in the 6 week challenge with a final weight loss of 18 lbs and 7.3% body fat going from 25.5% to 18.2%!!! I strictly followed the diet rules (with exception of a beer or scotch here and there 😎 ) and my only workouts were the 3 a week I committed to at The Training Pit Hollywood.
I think the latter is significant as I had my own doubts that my challenge goals could be met without extra workouts....but I tusted the process and exceeded my goals. This is a clear testament to the quality of coaching and nutritional expertise that is housed within The Training Pit.
Many thanks to Coach Odival Filho who I worked with the majority of the time. Odival is a professional who has a great command of technique as well as understanding when an athlete needs to be shut down due to failing form (and then redirected to another exercise).
I also want to thank coach Willao Sanchao who was my coach for a couple make up sessions when I missed the normal time, and of course a big Thank You to the Training Pit's leader Marcelo Pimenta!! Marcelo is always available for support via many platforms and has created an ideal environment for anyone to succeed in their fitness goals.
I look forward to more workouts to come and maintain the nutrition principles learned during these first 6 weeks after a more than 2 year "off" period. My breakfasts' have been forever changed + i have learned a new sustainable method for responsible eating at restaurants. I have lost this much weight in the past, but never without calorie counting. Once I stopped counting cals the lbs would creep up! Now i feel there is a better chance for me to keep up with a healthy eating plan now that the crutch of calorie counting is gone.

🏋♂️ Honestly, I was doubting between going to the gym or crossfit. I wanted to try first crossfit because I didn't do it before and I don't regret it.
😜 Its curious that when you are inside, you forget about everything and concentrate in finishing the work out. You won't find mirrors, or they won't sell you protein shakes. There are no distractions. They just concentrate in pushing you to the limit and you won't be conscious of what your body can do.
🙋 I've been training for 3 months and I can say that my body composition has changed for good. I feel much better but the best thing is that they have made feel being consistent. Enjoy the road to get your goals is the most important thing. Showing up as much as you can is what will make the difference.
The trainers are there to guide you, help you, they will tell you how to improve the movements, they will recommend you if the weight is the correct. Daniel, Vlad (that never be sad), Sam, Ryan are gorgeous. The team is incredible.
Summing up, I would just say TRY IT. But caution: it can be ADDICTIVE.

Read moreI’ve always struggle with going to the gym, first because I don’t know how to create a routine, second because I felt I spend most of the time figuring out what to do next. At Training Pit I’ve been able to surpass my personal record in weightlifting and more, I’ve develop a sense of accomplishment after every class, and a strive to been able to do certain movements that seem impossible at the beginning. The coaches are the best, each one of them with their own characteristic personality; Vlad is always dancing around the placing making the workout fun and fast. Daniel is inspiring and take a near look at your movements, Linda is fun and every time I go she is working out and pushing all of us to do better. Jocelyn is very concerned about technique which is incredibly important when you are trying to lift a lot of weight.
I love being part of this box. They’ve given me the tools to take control over my body.
