Holyoke Dog Park — Attraction in Holyoke

We attended a very fun Halloween costume party. We won funniest contest. Unfortunately, we can not take our pug here because there are always larger aggressive dogs at the park. Also, there are several design flaws one of which is that the dog park was built at the bottom of a downward slope. Another flaw is that they did not create a sound barrier between the park and the highway that has constant traffic. Also, the city council gave away $ that was supposed to build a pedestrian rail overpass in Ward 1 to build a park miles from ward one. People in ward 1 are now asking about the overpass. Been going to the dog park for years with my pitbulls I've had multiple pit bulls over the past 12 years and all of them have enjoyed this park and all of the other dogs in it the only downside to this park is that there isn't too many obstacles for the dogs to play with just a pair of stairs and a few benches for the dog...

The park is wood chipped, fully fenced in and has a few benches. There are only two trees so it can get hot as there is very little shade. Its in a very pretty area.
