If youâre on Fort Shafter and need to grab a few essentials, the Exchange will get the job doneâbut letâs be real, itâs nothing to write home about. Itâs small, limited in selection, and definitely more of a quick-stop shop than a place to browse or stock up.
Youâll find the basicsâsnacks, uniforms, toiletries, and a few household itemsâbut donât expect a wide variety or specialty goods. Honestly, it feels more like a satellite shop than a full-service Exchange.

   Read moreIt is a PX. Kind of small when compared to others, but Ft. Shafter is a small installation. Selection is a little lacking at times. There is a Subway for food, barber shop and MCCS. Nothing fancy, gets the job done.
Update as of 5APR22: no masks are required anywhere in the store. The sandwich place is gone but Subway is still in business.
No change of as 20JUL22. There is a pizza place now, but it has been there for a while.

If you're NOT from Shafter and happen to be one of us peasants that stumbled upon this place then you are in for a treat. Walking into the Shafter exchange will take you back to memories of walking into the Camp Taji or Camp Liberty PXs and being instantly surrounded by FOBBITs who look at you like you're some kind of strange alien because they haven't seen an actual Regular operations level Soldier in so long that normal Divisional Patches confuse them.
