This lesser traveled beach is both a beautiful overlook and a beautiful beach. The high bluff above is populated by tourists every minute of every day who come to see an amazing vast horizon of beautiful blue Hawaiian water and the high-end communities of Kahala and Diamond Head. The grassy areas on the bluff are perfect for a quick picnic or a quite place to read. This bluff is often used for whale watching in the winter (pronounced "the rainy season").
The sandy beach below abounds with local surfers everyday. This beach is not the best beach for casual swimming due the abundance of coral. There is a bit of shade provided by the palms but they are more recessed than at other beaches. For beauty alone this place is very hard to beat. There are no facilities here. Read moreThe beach was so beautiful and peaceful ...the park there was very well kept and very clean .There is a structure where you could cook out and have a nice gathering with friends and family the only thing no parking and fresh water and the beach it self is very reefy a lit of rocks some areas father down a little sand area where you can swim but the current can get treachery so caution especially high tide. You can fish and dive but not sure if that's permitted so please check with DNLR fines can get pricey. Other then that looking for some privacy from the crowded beaches this is a nice...

Now completely ruined by Instagram and people doing business here like Yoga classes and HUGE business gatherings that think it's awesome to blast music and take over the area.
