This is a great hike! But it is NOT "easy" unless you are in good shape. I suffer from mild anemia and I had to take numeroius rest breaks to get to the summit. BUT it gave me time to breath and take things in. I hiked it alone, and I noticed many people climbing the trail in pairs or small groups happily talking about this or that and missing the awesome beauty of the place.

Make sure to take water and a snack. And despite the warnings not to climb down the rocks to the fall a LOT of people do it. Some even take the opportunity to take a dip in the pool. (I didn't swim but I screwed my courage up and climbed down.

There's also another 1.7 mile hike that starts at the top. Needless to say I did NOT do that.

There's a pile of makeshift bamboo walking sticks at the bottom of the trail. Tale one. And make SURE you have sturdy footwear that will give you a good grip on the sometimes slick muddy trail. One way or another the view of the 150 foot falls is well...

This place was magical! It's not a difficult hike at all. I did it in flip-flops, though I wouldn't recommend it. The hike is short and is maybe 2 miles out and back. If you're visiting the island and you're an outdoor person, put this on your list of things to do. Parking and the trail to hike were free. Be sure not to leave anything of value visible in your car. When I arrived, a family had just returned from hiking the trail to find their back window busted out and things stolen, so be mindful that thieves are everywhere, even in paradise. Overall, if I lived on the island, I would visit this place often. It was...

Don't do it it's not an easy hike. Very difficult. Got stuck walking around there for 3 to 4 hours got lost in the Jungle Very Very difficult to find your way back. Being lost in the jungle for hours we finally made it to a side road and Flagged people down to help us because we were lost everybody just passed us by or told us hitch hiking not allowed I wasn't asking to be a hitchhiker I was asking for help because I was lost we were definitely lost and would not do that ever again. Finally a nice guy named Jeffrey that lives on the island gave us a ride...

This was a gorgeous waterfall. Was quite a hike up and down the trail. With several little places to look at little streams going by. It had rained a little bit the day before so the trail was a little muddy. And then when you get to the end where the waterfall their signs that says do not go into the pool at the bottom. Which I did not but lots of people did. I guess they just couldn't read the English signs. And would I do it again? Yes I would.
