You missed out people! About 40 yrs ago, my family lived in Kaneohe. As kids, we'd sometines ride the bus to Hanauma Bay to tan and swim. Then we'd usually walk out around the cliff, (barefoot of course) and jump into the toilet bowl (if there weren't too many people already in it, otherwise you'd have to wait for a spot). We did this all the time! SO FUN riding the the waves up, then back down! Good Times! Nothing was dangerous back in the...

You people talking about the bathrooms are uninformed. The bowl is an oversized volcanic blowhole that my son enjoyed jumping into and riding the surge top to sandy bottom. Very dangerous but boy's will be boy's. I believe it is...
