Cousins Maine Lobster Houston (Food Truck) — Attraction in Houston

This was my second visit to this lobster food truck, and unfortunately, it left me feeling much the same as the first time—slightly disappointed. I really wanted to like it. The concept is great, and I always hope a return visit might turn things around, but this place just didn’t deliver the way I’d hoped.

On this visit, I tried the garlic butter lobster roll, which was served warm and was definitely the highlight of the meal. It was flavorful, buttery, and had a satisfying amount of lobster. If I had to recommend anything from the menu, this would be it.

I also had the Maine lobster roll, which was served chilled. Like the warm roll, it had a generous portion of lobster, but unfortunately, it lacked flavor. It came across as bland and didn’t leave much of an impression.

On my first visit, I tried the lobster bisque, which was a letdown. It wasn’t creamy and only had two small chunks of lobster in it—not exactly what you’d expect for the price. I also had the lobster grilled cheese, which didn’t quite work for me. The flavors didn’t come together, and it just didn’t taste that good.

I came back hoping my first visit had just caught them on a bad day, but the second time didn’t change much. While the rolls do offer a good amount of lobster, the overall flavor and quality just don’t match the high prices. The food was just okay, and for the cost, that’s probably not enough to...

The best customer service that I've had them very long time. Logan was awesome. All of it was great, good job. I don't have anything that can help you're pulling. Ome and this in person said they're gonna pay me $50 for commission. That for what you gotta use, I know I'm drawing them a full bar. You can push this over $15. And I'll be home. Finally got a chance to try this highly recommended food truck while at a beer stout fest in Spring, Texas. I had looked on the main website and was very excited to try the Connecticut. Glad I did but the roll was just good, not great. My opinion is that it was not as fully filled as depicted on the website and the buttery taste was bland. It is an expensive meal ($25 with tip) for what seemed to be more of a snack. But now I know. I may try the tacos if there is a next time. Honestly a lot less excited about a next time.
